CBS is doing a reboot of the Star Trek franchise, beginning in January 2017. It seems that it will be quite different from previous Trek series, while still keeping the basic premise intact. Here’s the first trailer released. It doesn’t tell us much, but, hey, I like the snazzy new logo!:
