On Thursday, December 15, I will be releasing “Five and Daemon”, the compiled version of the story I serialized here on the blog from March 2015 to January 2016. I’ve pulled all the parts together into one e-book, and it will be free to download from Smashwords.com in many different formats, including for Kindle. Here’s the story description:
Something very strange is happening in Carroll Fork. When an unusual number of low-order demons start showing up in town, demon-chasers Johnny and Cerise start taking notice. And when Cerise, who sees the daemonflash that marks the presence of a demon, discovers that the demons are being sold to the townspeople in clothing and other items from the local thrift store, they head to the small, quiet town to investigate. Almost nothing at Miss Lucy’s Emporium is as it seems, including the sweet, elderly proprietor. It’s a devil of a spot to be in, and Johnny needs every skill he has to clean things up in Carroll Fork. Including some help from a local waitress, a bit of heavenly intervention, and a yo-yo.
And here’s a first look at the cover:
If you are not a fan of serials and didn’t read it here, now’s your chance. Oh, and did I mention it’s FREE! Well, it is! If you did read along and enjoyed it, you can have it all in one place with a pretty nifty cover, if I do say so myself. As an added bonus, you will also get a preview of the next story in this series, “The Devil Made Me Do It.”
Remember, Thursday, December 15, “Five and Daemon” is available for free download at Smashwords.com! (I’ll add the direct link to it when it is available.)
