We seem to be bouncing almost daily here. One day it’s 60, the next day it’s 40, the day after that, it’s under 30. And rainy probably 5 days out of 7. Makes it hard to get anything done outside. So, hello, Mother Nature? Let’s get Spring rolling here, okay?
We’ve been having some resource guarding issues with Starr. Not food or toy related that I’ve noticed, but she will chase Tucker off the sofa at night. And Tucker is just too submissive to argue. He just gets down and goes to the loveseat or dog bed. It’s not a huge thing, but there is room for both of them with us on the sofa, and we like having them there while we watch TV. I talked to our trainer about her, and from what I have seen in her general behavior, it looks like she’s OCD. Yes, dogs can be OCD. Plus she’s a whole different dog than Tucker, and needs much more mental stimulation along with the physical exercise. So, I’ve pulled out some of my training books and we are doing a lot of games and such with her. And a bonus is that Tucker gets more fun, too.
The BaldMan is having some surgery on his feet later this week. It’s getting to the point where standing and walking are just too painful, and his podiatrist sent him to the surgeon. I hope this helps.
