Wednesday Wanderings: Important Hubble Image, Queen Meets String Theory, Pagan Ritual Costumes, and Pretty Pictures

In 1996, scientists pointed the Hubble Space Telescope at what appeared to be a blank void in space. What they actually captured in the images is amazing:
