Which would be my usual Wednesday post. Of course, I spent most of yesterday thinking it was Thursday, and I didn’t have to do a blog post. Not sure when I thought I did the Wednesday Wanderings, but there it is.
I blame it on the Monday holiday. I mean, yeah, I like a long weekend as much as the next person. But they always mess up my perception of the rest of the week. I am a day off, on one end or the other, for the rest of the holiday week. So, you can give a big ol’ raspberry to Monday for the lack of posting yesterday.
So, what did I do yesterday? Well, for one thing, we were supposed to draft our Fantasy Football league last night. I spent a good portion of the day researching and building my draft list. Only to find out that our Commissioner (whose bald head shall remain nameless) left our league set to Auto Draft and didn’t notice until it was too late to change it. It worked out okay, though. No one in the league really got badly drafted. I got about as many of the players I wanted as I thought I probably would if I were actively there. The only problem I have is that too many of the other players are on the same bye week as my preferred list players. So, I will have to do something about that at some point before those weeks come up. And I got Tom Brady as my back-up QB, which is fine as long as Carson Palmer stays healthy at least until week 5! So, for at least this week, and maybe next, I am not going to do a lot unless there is an injury or some such. Once I have an idea how things are playing out, I can start to tweak things.
Oh, and Football is back! Yes, it is! And it’s about time! Time to pull out the mantras again:
Just win, baby!
Go, Pack, Go!
Next week will be better. I think. I hope. 😉
