Yesterday was Mother’s Day here in the US. I usually try to get my Monday and Wednesday blog posts done on Sunday, but this week, I kind of took the day off just because. We went to a couple local garden centers and picked up flowers for some of the containers, and I got those planted. Still have a few more to go, but I got some ideas about what to put in those, so that should get done in the next couple weeks.
The BaldMan made lasagna for dinner. Yum! Well, I may have eaten a bit more of it than was good for my diet, but it was Mother’s Day, and it was good! Gotta have a little indulgence every now and then, or this will get tedious.
Daughter Number 2 and I are going to see Infinity War this afternoon. Probably would have seen it sooner, but she took a new job position, moved to a new apartment, and had a couple less than exciting things going on the past little bit, so the movie had to wait. I’ve done a pretty good job of staying away from spoilers, I think. But after today, I can go back and read all those articles and posts I’ve bookmarked over the past few weeks!
That’s about all for now. I hope everyone celebrated their mothers yesterday. Even you guys not in the US- tell your Mom thank you. Just because you should.
