This book is a nice little book full of tidbits and trivia on many geeky favorite TV shows, comics, and movies. Along with each section, there are one or a few cocktails matched to them. For instance, the James Bond section has a corrected Bond martini, the Star Trek section has Romulan Ale, and the Dr. Who chapter has a TARDIS blue martini. Overall, it was a fun read, but I rather hoped there would be more drinks included and less trivia. Much of the information is stuff a geek fan would know, although there were a few new things I found. Some of the drinks are familiar, some are new, some are riffs on existing cocktails, and a few are from the author or other drink makers.
Overall, it was a fun read, and some of the cocktails are good.
