Tuesday Thoughts: We Made It Through Christmas, Didn’t We?

I’m pretty sure we did. How about you?

It was a good day. All the kids and grandkids were here. It was noisy, and chaotic, and frankly, by the time they all left, I was grateful for the quiet! But that’s what a holiday is- family and fun and festivity. Dinner was delicious, everyone seemed happy with their gifts, and we figured out a few logistics changes for next year.

Yesterday was basically a recovery day. I slept in a bit, which was very nice. Got the rest of the kitchen cleaned up, the “good” dishes put away, and finished up the after Christmas cleanup. And just chilled out after.

Today we are going bowling! Haven’t been bowling in ages. Must dust off the bowling ball and shoes. And some shopping. Later in the week we will make some sausage. Mmmmm.

If I don’t get back to say it before the weekend- Happy New Year!
