Just a few quick thoughts after seeing Endgame the other night. These will be very general in nature, so no spoilers here for those who haven’t seen it yet. If you prefer to not even see broad reaction, please refrain from reading.
First, let me say it was very, very good. Not perfect, but I don’t think I have yet seen a perfect movie. But this was a damn fine capstone for Phase 3 of the MCU. Plenty of action, some character moments, some fun, tension, and very much a Marvel film. There were tears, both of joy and sadness. Humor as we’ve come to expect. Some moments thrilled. Others disappointed. Again, much like every other movie. And the parts that were appreciated and those that were not are likely to be different for everyone. There was some pretty awesome cinematography. The script was well written. The acting was spot on. Even the BaldMan, who is really not into superhero movies, enjoyed it as an action film.
It is worth seeing.
The spoiler moratorium is over on Monday, so look for a longer, more specific review next Friday.
