It’s been busy around here for the past few weeks. Mostly traveling with a bit of other stuff tossed in there just to keep me busy. The traveling is done until the back half of October, but we have some stuff going on this weekend (including our grandson’s eighth birthday party. He’s 8? Wow!). After that, things will, I hope, quiet down a bit so that I can get back to work.
I have managed to sneak in some writing work between packing and unpacking. As noted earlier, I finished the first draft of The Demon’s in the Details. It is resting quietly for maybe another week and then I will jump into revisions. I have been trying to at least sketch out a few more flash/short short fiction pieces so that I can get that set drafted. I came up with the main idea for this year’s Halloween story, also. I will have to decide whether or not I am doing NaNoWriMo this year so I can add some planning stages for that into October’s calendar. I have a vague sort of idea, but I also have a lot of other work to do if I am going to get the novella and the shorts collection out in the world on their current schedules. I will have to take some time and see if it’s all going to be doable. I may sit NaNo out this year. We’ll see.
